The walls and doors of the boiler room must provide specific fire resistance (walls/ceilings 1 hour, fire door 30 minutes).

Suitable fire extinguishers must be present, and no flammable materials should be stored.

b. Ventilation

Your boiler room must have adequate high and low ventilation, in accordance with standard NBN B 61-001, ensuring proper combustion and removal of stale air.

Exemptions can be requested from Frigotec for boiler rooms with less than 400 kW.

c. Chimney

Combustion gas emissions must be vented through the roof, more than 8 meters from any neighboring window or air intake, unless an exemption is approved by Frigotec.

d. Meters

The main gas and electricity meters must be installed outside the boiler room.

e. Large installations (power ≥ 1 MW)

Compliance with NOx and CO emission limits.
Sampling and analysis of emissions to be carried out shortly after commissioning.
